How to get to the McAfee Customer Service site
You can read our articles to find information about our products. Or you can speak to our customer service agents via phone or chat.
How to download and manage your McAfee products
To download McAfee apps for your iOS or Android, search for the app on the Apple App store or Google Play.
How to manage your McAfee account
- McAfee Protection Center at https://protection.mcafee.com. This is the preferred option. We have moved all subscription-related options on this site.
- McAfee My Account at https://myaccount.mcafee.com. This is our older site. We plan on retiring this site when all the options are moved to the McAfee Protection Center.
TIP: Check the Protection Center first when you need to perform account-related actions. If you’re unable to perform the action in the Protection Center, go to My Account and try there.
Scam websites
These are scam websites. If you think a site is a scam, don’t type your details like your email, phone number, or credit card info.
- Alert your financial institutions (such as your bank or credit card company) immediately, and cancel credit cards and checks, if needed.
- Report the fraud to the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) and your local law enforcement.
- Protect your credit report with a credit freeze and add a fraud alert.
NOTE: Some sites that aren’t supported by, or linked with, McAfee might still be legitimate. If you’re unsure if the site is safe to use, contact Customer Service for advice.
Watch out for email scams
Criminals send fake emails that look like they come from real companies to trick people. Their goal is to get you to reveal confidential info such as your credit card details, date of birth, Social Security number, and more.
These phishing emails often include links that, if clicked, can introduce malware to your computer.
IMPORTANT: You can forward suspicious emails to scam@mcafee.com.
Emails sent to McAfee might be used to improve McAfee products, including training AI models to detect and fight email scams. For more information, see the McAfee privacy notice.
