How to download and install True Key

Learn how to download and install True Key to your desktop, laptop, or mobile device.

 

Download True Key to any device

On a desktop or laptop, (Windows and macOS) True Key installs as a web browser extension.

For a mobile device, you can download the True Key from the Android or iOS app stores.
 

Log in to your Windows computer and follow the steps:

 

1. Open a web browser and go to truekey.com.
2. Click Download - it's free.
   True Key downloads and installs as an extension to your web browser.
   
    

True Key is now ready to be configured on your PC. Before you do so, you need to create a True Key profile:

 

1. Open True Key by clicking the browser extension, which is usually in the top right of your browser, and then follow the prompts.
2. Fill in all needed fields.
   
   NOTE: Make sure that you use an email address that you access regularly, and not a temporary email address.
    
3. Create a strong Master Password. Follow the recommended password rules, such as using upper and lowercase letters, numbers, and special characters.
4. Click OK, next.
5. When you are prompted to remember your primary password, click Yes, I'll remember, to continue.
