Here are some reasons why your identity verification might fail:
- You typed in the wrong info
- Your info has typos
- Suspected fraud attempts
You can try up to 3 times within 30 days to confirm your identity
Before you retry verification, do as follows:
- Confirm that your personal info is typed fully.
- Ensure your personal info is correct.
- Verify that you have access to the phone number and email you shared during setup.
- Be sure that you are using a secure, trusted device, and network.
If you fail to verify your identity in these three tries, you won’t be able to go ahead with the setup.
You'll see the above screen if you fail TransUnion® verification. This message will show up for 30 days, after which you can try again.
TIP: When your account is locked, you must wait 30 days before you can sign in again or retry verification. Our Customer Service agents can't unlock your account.
